Purified

Blossoming from a radio show into a worldwide event series and record label, Nora En Pure’s Purified has become one of the most sought-after musical brands over the past few years. Launching at Miami Music Week in 2017, the series has hosted editions in Miami, New York, Montreal, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Berlin, London, Johannesburg, Zurich, Prague and has welcomed label talent as well as special guests like Pete Tong, Gorgon City, Kidnap, Moonwalk, Eelke Kleijn, Sonny Fodera and Franky Wah behind the decks.

Representing the sounds and styles of Purified Radio, which received a nomination for Best Radio/Podcast in the 2019 IDMA Awards, Nora En Pure launched Purified Records in late 2019. Releasing a blend of melodic deep house and techno, the imprint covers a variety from chill to club-focused cuts. Taking listeners on a sonic journey across deep, melodic and tech house soundscapes, Purified continues to devise out of this world events and will be touching down in select cities in 2025.

The single unfolds with pulsating basslines, cascading melodies, and atmospheric textures, balancing uplifting harmonies with darker undertones. Jono’s unique ability to blend emotional depth with dancefloor energy solidifies his place as a rising star in electronic music.

The ‘Digital Rain’ artwork shows the River Otta near the town of Lom in Norway, captured after several days of heavy rain by Jan Erik Waider. A fine art photographer based in Hamburg, Germany, Jan is known for capturing abstract landscapes of the northern latitudes. With a focus on water, ice, and intricate natural patterns, his work reveals the beauty hidden in the subtle details of the world around us.

The water, laden with sediments, created striking patterns through the currents. The river’s name likely originates from the Old Norse verb ótta, meaning “to scare” or “to terrify.” Fed by glaciers, the river is known for its strong and fierce flooding, particularly during periods of intense rainfall or glacial melt.

Kiholm’s ‘Wonder’ opens the release with a heady, anthemic feel, combining uplifting melodies with deep, driving rhythms to create an unforgettable peak-time anthem. Outbeat follows with ‘Sunny Breeze’, a groovy creation that channels a nostalgic 80s bass, layered with smooth, infectious hooks and twinkling soundscapes that transport listeners to a sun-drenched dancefloor. Closing the compilation is ANGL’s ‘Catarsi’, an intricate and hypnotic number that draws listeners in with its mesmerizing rhythms and evolving textures, offering a deep and intriguing experience.

Sea turtles, including species like the loggerhead, green, and leatherback, rely on specific beaches to nest, where females return to lay eggs in carefully dug sand nests. Once hatched, baby turtles instinctively move toward the brightest horizon, which would naturally be moonlight reflecting off the ocean. However, artificial light pollution from nearby developments can confuse hatchlings, leading them away from the sea and putting them at risk of dehydration, predation, or even traffic hazards. Protecting nesting sites from light pollution is essential to ensure the survival of these vulnerable hatchlings and maintain healthy sea turtle populations.
